No one walks away… from their past.

Set in Paris, the story of a wounded mobster who discovers he's the father
of a newborn baby.  After first trying to get rid of the infant, he returns
to New York to find the mother.  Despite her struggle with drug addiction
and his felonious past, the two try to establish a normal life.  The killer
and the junkie find glimpses of love and salvation through the innocence of
their child.  But in the end, no one escapes the wreckage of their past.
