Chuck Rock
Whether it is in the restaurant business, securities, marketing, or overseeing Arthaus Pictures, Chuck Rock has proven to have the Midas touch. Over the course of his entrepreneurial career, he has seen his share of success and excitement, but few things turn him on more than his passion for films, food, and wine. Today, to maintain his restaurant interests and his production company, Rock divides his time between his two homes in Laguna Beach and New York City, but looks forward to focusing much of his attention on his latest West Coast endeavor Hush Restaurant in Laguna Beach. Chuck was an Executive Producer on the upcoming ROCKSTARS OF COMEDY and is actively involved in all aspects of the Arthaus Pictures film development, acquisitions, financing, and production.
Brian Oliver
Brian Oliver is President of Arthaus Pictures and is involved all aspects of the company’s feature development, acquisitions, financing, and production. Brian developed and produced AUTO FOCUS for Sony staring Greg Kinnear and William Dafoe and directed by Paul Schrader, THE BADGE, staring Billy Bob Thornton and Patricia Arquette, and is attached to produce MONEY GAME by Jamal Joseph currently set up at New Line Cinema. He is recently was involved in the production Half Light directed by Craig Rosenberg and starring Demi Moore for Lakeshore Entertainment.
Before forming Arthaus Pictures, Brian worked at Propaganda Films where he was the Vice President of Production of the Feature Film Division. Propaganda Films produced blockbuster hits such as BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, THE GAME, SLEEPERS and NURSE BETTY as well as representing over 50 of the top directors in the motion picture industry including but not limited to David Fincher (SEVEN, PANIC ROOM, THE GAME), Spike Jonze (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, ADAPTION), Jonathan Glazer (SEXY BEAST, BIRTH), and Antoine Fuqua (TRAINING DAY, TEARS FROM THE SUN). Prior to working at Propaganda Films Brian worked in the Motion Picture Department at the William Morris Agency following his work at Paramount Pictures.
Brian received his J.D. with Honors specializing in Entertainment Law from Whittier College School of Law. He also studied at the University of California at Berkeley.
